Sad to see the saga of the St James goes on. Unfortunately regardless of it being a nice old theatre with a unique interior and history it has a major failing - the stage is too small to be viable as a profitable live theatre venue. No depth or width, a sharp rake and no storage space. If only the City Council could move the historical pub on the corner behind the building ... a tall order! But after the debacle of His Majesty's one can only but hope.
